Procedure for Sending Remittances

Our remittance products are unique and customized to suit the needs of NRIs wishing to send money home, quickly and safely. We ensure that your money reaches your loved ones well in time for any urgent needs.

• Remittances can be sent either through drafts or swift/ instant transfer.
• Customer needs to fill in remittance application form available at the branch and submit it with a copy of their Hong Kong ID card.
• No limit on the amount that can be remitted.
• For customers depositing the money in cash for remittance.
  (a) Cash up to HKD 20000.00 is accepted with a copy of Hong Kong ID card.
  (b) HKD 20000.00 to HKD 50000.00 cash will be accepted with proof of source of funds.
  (c) Remittance above HKD 50000.00 cashier order/ Cheque has to be obtained from any bank, against which the remittance will be sent immediately or Personal Cheque has to be tendered and the remittance shall be sent on the third day after the funds has been cleared.
